Types of industrial gates and their features

1. Rolled industrial gates.

They are a canvas of horizontal lamellas made of durable materials. Opening up with the help of a drive (manual lifting only in emergency mode), the protective cloth is wound on the shaft located on top, folding into a special box. Roll gates are installed in a specially prepared opening, most often it is a metal frame made of square pipes. For the manufacture of lamellas, the following types of materials are used:

• Steel;

• Aluminum;

• Metal mesh;

• Polycarbonate.

Roll insulated gates have the following advantages: saving space during operation, ease of operation in any weather. They are made of aluminum profile and insulation inside it - for external location. Made of steel profile without insulation - for indoor use.

Industrial roller gates can be made up to 12 meters wide with one canvas, and with the help of sliding consoles, it is possible to block an opening up to 40 meters wide or more. 2. Sectional industrial gates.

They are made according to the type of sandwich panels - from steel sheets with insulation placed inside; the panels are connected to each other by locking devices. When opening, they rise up along the guides and are removed under the overlap. 

Sectional doors are used in industrial, warehouse areas, shopping malls, car services, car washes. Due to the presence of insulation, they perfectly retain heat in the room during the cold season. They are resistant to strong mechanical loads, resistant to corrosion, various adverse effects. Sometimes private owners of plots choose these gates for convenient arrival of different sizes of cars.

The width of an industrial gate is usually limited to 8 meters, and the resource depends on the spring block, if it is used in the construction.

3. Fire-fighting industrial gates.

Their main task is to prevent the spread of fire between rooms or buildings, safe evacuation of people. In case of a fire, they are closed by a fire alarm signal. Fire gates can be of the following types:
