EI 15 - barriers with a degree of fire resistance of 15 minutes

Fire barriers with fire resistance EI-15 are usually presented in the form of doors and partitions that withstand fire for 15 minutes without loss of integrity. EI15 doors can be made of various materials. For offices, these can be aluminum doors with large glazing, metal doors with a window and even doors with a wooden cloth.
For stationary barriers that look beautiful and modern, partitions with multilayer fire-resistant glass can be used.
A certificate for such products is usually not made, since the fire resistance is quite low and rarely requires confirmation.

EI 30 - fire-resistant doors and partitions

Products with fire resistance EI-30 are certified and presented with doors made of various materials, blind and with inserts. Wooden fire doors EI30 can also be presented on the market. Gray metal doors with a window can most often be found in office and shopping centers, parking lots and shops. Fire-resistant glass EI 30 is used for inserts in gates and doors, as well as for solid stationary partitions.

EI 45 - doors and partitions

Doors with fire resistance EI-45 are used quite rarely, according to modern fire protection standards, fire resistance EI 60 is more often incorporated into the project. Such fire resistance is usually indicated by gypsum partitions, brickwork and building blocks, which are used for the construction of type 1 fire barriers. The fire resistance of fire-fighting partitions of the first type according to SNiP 21-01-97* (SP112.13330.2011), which defines the requirements of the PB for buildings, should not be less than EI 45.

EI-60 doors and gates

This type of fire resistance is the most common and is subject to mandatory certification. This is exactly the type of products we produce. In addition to EI-60, we have certificates and delivery throughout the Russian Federation of gates EI 90, 120, 180. Customers and architects can request both fire doors and fire gates. What is the difference?
Fire doors can be single-leaf or double-leaf with a swing design, most often with a threshold. Doors are manufactured serially and they are likely to be of standard sizes for common openings. 
Fire-fighting gates EI 60 are of roll, swing, sectional, sliding, lifting type. Gates are most often not manufactured in standard sizes, but are produced directly for a construction object. The cost of custom-made fire gates is certainly higher than the cost of standard doors, but there are much more options for overlapping openings.
