The curtain is lowered due to an electric drive at 220 V when an emergency signal is received at the fire department. In the event of a power outage, the system retains functionality for 72 hours due to the presence of a built-in battery in the control unit.

Smoke-proof curtains E60 MVA have been certified by the EAEU in two versions and can be manufactured with or without guides. Guides for smoke-proof curtains FireTechnics (Fireshield) E60 in the standard version have a size of 80x60 mm, in the Premium version (for large sizes) the guides are made in the size of 80x125 mm.

1.1 This standard establishes a method for testing the fire resistance of structures of smoke screens designed to block or limit the spread of gorenje products in the internal volumes of buildings in case of fires, including: through through openings of interstory floors, including in places where internal open staircases and escalators are installed; through open openings of partition walls, including technological and transport; in the sub-floor space of premises, including industrial and warehouse single-storey buildings, recreation areas, galleries and corridors of public and industrial buildings.
1.2 The requirements of this standard do not apply to the construction of fire curtains, including those designed to cover the openings of construction portals of existing theater boxes, as well as to the construction of curtains and screens used as filling openings in fire barriers or as transformable fire barriers.
1.3 These structures are subject to fire resistance tests taking into account the requirements of GOST 30247.0, GOST 30247.1, GOST 30247.2
